Container Vessel Rescues a Person off the Coast of USA

MV One Falcon, a container vessel owned by Fuji Shipholding LLC and managed by NYK Shipmanagement Pte Ltd, rescued a person in a sailboat in distress off the coast of USA on August 17th.

While sailing from Yantian, China to Los Angeles, USA, the ship received a call from Rescue Coordination Centres (RCC) Alameda of United States Coast Guard for rescue operation of distressed sailboat. The sailboat got damaged in bad weather on its voyage from Japan to the USA. The person on the sailboat was rescued by the rescue boat and is in good health condition.
